In all of Israel, there is almost no one focused on the children caught in between. Not the parents. Not the courts. The children.
You wouldn't spot them. They sit in class like every other kid. They laugh at recess. They hand in homework. From the outside, they look completely fine.
But say the word "divorce" near them and watch what changes. Watch the other parents pull their children a little closer, as if it were contagious. Watch the whispered warnings: "Be careful with that family."
These children carry two lives, two sets of rules, two versions of themselves — all before they're old enough to understand why. And if you want a healthy adult, you need a healthy childhood. That's the part nobody's protecting.
